Goods are merchandise or possessions, these are things to be transported, imported and exported. Goods are merchandise that can be sold, bought, rented, presented, etc. Goods are produced by manufacturers and then these manufacturers either distribute them or give these goods to the middleman to sell or give them for rent.
Goods can be everything: furniture, books, materials, anything. Goods make economy go round. Goods and services is what a country offers for sale to other countries, if we take it in global vision. And then this country buys goods and services from other countries. Sometimes we think that our world is so developed and that evolution has gone far, but we still do the same things we have done thousands years ago: import and export are the same barter thing of exchanging goods or services for other goods or services without using the money that out ancestors have done in caves and near fires, looking for a shelter because dinosaurs were coming.
There are different sorts of goods that can be differentiated according to markets they are sold and bought in, according to their purpose, and many other features and details. Consumers purchase goods for personal use.
